Welcome to the Resouces Section

Porsche has made and continues to make many wonderful high-performance road and racing vehicles, however the focus of the RGruppe is primarily of those built between 1965 and 1973. Below is an overview of Porsche models by year and internal Porsche designation in their stock and modified configuration of some of the cars which RGruppe members are interested in.

What is it that makes an RGruppe car so interesting?

For some, there's nothing like a high-performance early 911 motor outfitted with special speed equipment. Check out the video below for an example of the sound of a stock 2-liter 911 motor in a 1967 911S coupe with 911R rainshields and a custom three-outlet exhaust.

Miniwerks

Minimerks, in Sacramento, focuses on high-end handbuilt scale replicas of the 911RS as well as other Porsches including the 906s, 917s, 356 Carreras and Cabriolets and others. These are not toys but “collectibles” for enthusiasts. Tell them you saw their link on the Rgruppe site.
